About Me
I’m from the Bronx and resided there most of my life. I am finishing up my undergrad degree at St. John’s University in Queens. I am an Adolescent Education Major with an English concentration. I worked as an English tutor basically my whole life. I spent time volunteering as a tutor in the Bronx and was a guest lecturer a few times for an Education course at my school. My biggest form of experience definitely comes from my Student Teaching in which I was a volunteer student teacher my entire Junior year before officially taking the reins. I’d like to share that I am pretty approachable and interested in what’s to come!
What about the residency are you most looking forward to?
I am most looking forward to being in a new place experiencing something I've always wanted to do.
Did you have a teacher who made a lasting impression on you?
The teacher that made a lasting impression on me is a teacher that cared about the students. He didn't act 'all-knowing' and valued our efforts. He was approachable and showed that we mattered in his classroom.
