What does the relationship between the Teaching Mentor and Resident Intern look like?

Teaching Mentors are instructors, role models, and collaborative partners who build authentic relationships with you. They work with you to provide gradual increases in responsibility, help you cultivate relationships with families and students, establish positive classroom culture using restorative justice practices, and model how to use data. Overall the goal is for Teaching Mentors to partner with NYU Steinhardt faculty to ensure your success.
