Teaching Special Education

Join us for a special NYU Teacher Residency session dedicated to learning more about what teaching Special Education means and what it can look like as a resident in our program. This 45 minute session on Zoom will be presented by a member of our NYU faculty who specializes in teaching Special Education and our Resident Recruitment Manager.

During the session, you will learn more about what teaching special education typically looks like, the role of a special education teacher/resident in the NYU Teacher Residency, and the unique perspectives and practices of special educators.

There will be time at the end of the session for you to ask questions.

We recommend attending a General Information Session prior to this session to answer any questions you may have about program logistics and the application process.
