Adriana Garcia, who earned a Master’s of Arts in Teaching through our residency program, spoke to Chalkbeat New York about why she preferred a teaching residency, how the residency prepared her for the job, and first-year challenges.
Her residency was with Great Oaks Charter School in New York. Garcia now teaches at East Side Preparatory School.
